User Experience – designing positive experiences

What does the modern consumer expect? How to gain loyal customers if our product faces strong competition in the market? It should be remembered that a good impression is made only once, and without it, customers will not return to our brand.User experience design is a long-term process that must begin at the moment the brand enters the market and continue throughout its development. But what exactly is user experience, or user experience (UX)? This term refers to the overall impressions a user has when interacting with a given interactive product. Usually, this concept is used in the context of electronic devices, software, or websites. User experience can be both positive and negative. For this reason, experience design is very important because it determines how consumers will perceive the brand, whether they will return to it, and recommend it to their friends.

An impression is built from the very beginning. It should be achieved through visual and substantive factors to encourage the user to regularly use the company’s products. Modern consumers have very high demands regarding quality, appearance, and even the popularity of a product or website. Their expectations have risen with the appearance of a large number of competitors on the market, which has fostered healthy competition. It is increasingly difficult for companies to compete solely with the product itself, its availability, or even price because we live in a time where the most important factor is making a good impression, as well as the way the product is presented and sold.Six factors can be distinguished that make up UX:

  1. Credibility
  2. Findability
  3. Usability
  4. Accessibility
  5. Attractiveness
  6. Functionality

When all these factors are considered in experience design, one can be confident that the brand is on the right path to building desired impressions among customers. This should be done in such a way that customers become attached to the offered product. After all, the goal is not for the brand to be perceived as just one among many existing on the market but to create an inimitable image. It hardly needs to be argued that this strategy will not only differentiate the company in the market but, above all, increase its profits.

The modern consumer expects an innovative approach towards themselves, the company, and the product. Experience design aims to satisfy these needs, gain the customer’s trust, evoke a smile, attach them to the brand, and distinguish the company from the competition. When building and developing a brand, it is worth remembering this concept.
